中国交响乐团合唱团
中国交响乐团合唱团是直属中华人民共和国文化部的专业音乐艺术表演团体，1956年与交响乐团组成中央乐团，现名中国交响乐团合唱团，现任团长黄越峰，常任指挥王琳琳。合唱团现拥有成员80名，均为国内外各高等音乐院校的优秀毕业生。
50年代初期，合唱团曾代表国家于两届世界青年联欢节合唱比赛中获金奖和银奖。1959年成功演出贝多芬《第九交响曲（合唱）》，为该曲在新中国首演。1979年参加菲律宾第一届国际合唱节，观众形容他们的歌声“清脆甜美犹如优质的瓷器”。1985年在香港黄河音乐节的演出倾倒了万名观众，被誉为“本港开办的传统音乐会最激动人心的一场”。1986年合唱团以出色的演唱，在第二届北京合唱节上荣获专业组第一名。1992年出访新加坡，演出《黄河》大合唱等中外合唱名曲，以黄河般的气势引起轰动。1993年8月合唱团访问美国、加拿大，并参加在温哥华举行的第三届国际合唱音乐研讨会，演唱了中国经典合唱曲目，引起了强烈反响。国际音乐界评论“他们无论在合唱技巧、还是发声训练上，毫不逊色于来自世界的任何一支合唱队伍，而且音色之美更令人赞叹”。1995年出访马来西亚，在十个城市演出合唱音乐会，受到当地华人的热烈欢迎。1993年与1995年合唱团两度在台湾六大城市巡回演出，倍受赞赏，为增进两岸同胞的了解与友谊做出积极贡献。1997年香港回归后，合唱团再访香港，演出三场曲目不同的合唱音乐会，观众极为踊跃。1998年应邀赴澳门参加了第十三届澳门国际音乐节。2008年应邀出访奥地利维也纳，在金色大厅的演出获得了巨大成功，极大的提升了中华音乐文化的影响力。
在合唱团的创建与发展中，老一辈音乐家李凌、指挥家严良堃、秋里做出了重要贡献。合唱团还与国内外著名指挥家广泛合作，如：杨鸿年、汤沐海、马革顺、徐瑞琪、俞峰、余隆、吴灵芬、刘燕平、曹丁、亚伦、小泽征尔（日）、大卫·拉森（美）、奥尔迪斯（英）、让·皮里松（法）、杜马舍夫（俄）、杰夫林（俄）、希尔别什（美）、叶咏诗（香港）、杜黑（台湾）、郭孟雍（台湾）等。
通过长期的艺术实践，合唱团形成了朴实高雅、豪迈细腻的独特风格，能够准确地诠释不同时期、不同风格的合唱作品。近年来，为适应新时期市场需求，合唱团突破框框、大胆创新，推出了《燃烧的岁月》、《浪漫早春》、《伏尔加之声》等情景合唱音乐会。合唱团员边表演边演唱，将现代舞台的视觉效果与合唱艺术相结合，给观众以新颖、生动的艺术享受。
合唱团除了国内外巡回演出外，还为电影及电视录制音乐，出版发行了许多唱片，为丰富人民音乐生活，提高大众欣赏水平及促进国际文化交流作出重要贡献。
Symphony Chorus
The China National Chorus is a professional musical institution under the direct leadership of the Ministry of Culture of China. Formerly it was an institution affiliated to the Central Philharmonic under the direction of Yuefeng Huang, the chorus today consists of over 80 members who are all graduates with distinction from Chinese and international conservatories of music.
The former conductors Liangkun Yan and Li Qiu contributed a great deal to the development of the chorus. The Chorus has also worked with many renowned international conductors, such as Hongnian Yang、Muhai Tang、Geshun Ma、Ruiqi Xu、Feng Yu、Long Yu、Lingfen Wu、Yanping Liu、Ding Cao、Lun Ya、Seiji Ozawa from Japan, David Larson from the USA, John Alldis from Brita in, Jean Perisson from France, Dumashev and Boris Tevlin from the former Soviet Union，Yip Wingsie from Hong Kong, Hei Du and Mengyong Guo from Taiwan and etc. At present the resident conductor of the chorus is Wang LinLin and the permanent guest conductor is Vijay Upadhyaya from Austria.
The chorus performs specializes in the performance of different periods and styles of works. In recent years, in order to cater to the new demands of audiences, the chorus makes an adaptation and innovation involving interdisciplinary performances. Hence, the chorus has developed innovative and attractive stage performances and breaks with the traditions of static choral concerts. The chorus has also done several recordings for movies and TV programs.
Since the early 50s, the chorus has been regularly performing western and Chinese symphonic music. In 1959, Beethoven’s ninth Symphony was a debut performance in China. In 1979 the chorus performed in the Philippines and in 1985, at the Hong Kong Yellow River Festival. In 1986, they won the gold medal in the professional group category at the 2nd Beijing Musical Festival. In 1992, they were invited to perform Yellow River Cantata in Singapore. In the August of the following year, they visited the United States and also attended the 3rd World Chorus Symposium in Vancouver earning immense acknowledgment from the audiences. In 1995, the chorus visited Malaysia and toured ten cities. The Chorus organized two series of performances at Taiwan in 1993 and 1995, making a huge contribution the friendship and understanding of between mainland China and Taiwan region. In October 2011, the chorus will perform the Mahler 8th Symphony together with the chorus and orchestra of the “Academia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia” in Rome under the direction of Antonio Papano.
